Carving Pumpkins

Steven and I have carved a pumpkin every year since we first got married.  So, you know... 4 times.  We are pretty amazing at keeping traditions.  ha!  This year as no exception.  But, we only get 1 pumpkin, because we are never too sure how well our kids will enjoy it.  Noah actually did pretty well this year and the pumpkins held his attention for a while.  He even helped cut a little bit.  He didn't want his hands in the guts, but wasn't totally turned off by the idea either.

And because we bought a giant pumpkin (does Costco sell anything that isn't giant?), we opted to carve 2 faces in it.  It actually turned out really cool!

Roxi was content to just hold her little pumpkin for most of the time.  :)
This may be the first time I've seen Noah actually smile for the camera in quite some time!

Noah helped draw the smiley face side.  (Well, he mostly told me how to draw it, but still cool).

Super cute photos! The one of the right with Roxi holding her tiny pumpkin is so adorable, with her blue eyes shining. Also, so fun to see cute little Noah enjoying the festivities and forgetting for a moment that he hates having his picture taken!
