That There is an RV: Day 9, 10 and 11

The last days of our trip were spent at my sister Jandie's house in Portland. It was good to see her and her little boy Bear. My mom also came down and Broc and his family came from Seattle, so it was so fun for the kids to be able to see cousins. The original plan was that my mom and Jandie would come to Lincoln City, but Jandie ended up having to have knee surgery, so she pretty much just laid on the couch instead. :) The kids had a great time playing though.

After a day with Jandie, it was time to head home. The trip home was pretty uneventful. We drove as far as we could in one day, and stayed at a campground on the Snake River, before entering Idaho. There was no one else there really, and since we just pulled in for the night and continued on the next day, there weren't many pictures. We had a fun party night again, and enjoyed our last night of this epic vacation. We loved this time together as a family. We've talked about it since, and I think the only thing we'd do differently is to go somewhere closer, so that we didn't have to drive 2 days there and 2 days back. But, it was fun to see the ocean, the tall tall trees and so many members of our family. This is definitely a vacation for the books.

Best little travel partners and bed buddies around. Noah and Roxi, we sure do love you. Thanks for a great road trip.
