That There is an RV: Day 7

The next day at Sunset Beach was just as fun. We learned that there were 3 parks right there, on the same road and that because we were staying at the campground, we had access to the other two. So, we went exploring. We were able to check out an awesome seal overlook for a while, while Steven took a phone call from work. He'd have to remember the purpose of the call, but I just remember that he was so mad and it took forever. Haha! The kids were great and we had fun running around and watching the sea lions from afar, but Steven was so done by the end of that phone call.

This picture perfectly sums up the phone call. :)

After that, we went to a botanical gardens spot, and learned about Sunset Beach - it used to be home to some rich family that built their house right there on the cliff. The state bought the land later and restored most of it, so that visitors could come and enjoy. The gardens on the estate were so beautiful! It was really fun to walk around them and enjoy the beauty of the various plants and flowers.

One of my favorite stories from this trip, was after we'd gone to the water one day, Noah's pants were all wet. So we put them on the table to dry outside, and while they were drying, a crow came along and pooped on his pants. :) The kids thought that was so funny and still talk about it. I don't even know how they remember! The crows were crazy here... another time, while we were cooking breakfast, a crow came and stole our sausage!
