When we moved into our new house (Me-house), we transitioned Noah into his "big boy bed." We were probably more concerned about it than necessary, as it turned out, but you just never know! In the final days before moving, I would often talk to him about the transition and how his crib would be Roxi's new bed. As a result, he liked to have her join him in his crib in the morning.
After we moved, he transitioned very well. Not only does he not leave his bedroom, but I think he very rarely even leaves his bed. There have been a few times in the last month or so of being here that he has tried to leave his room, or has played in his room during nap time. But for the most part, he just lays in bed and reads his books until he falls asleep.
On one of the first days that we put him down for a nap, he was still getting used to staying in bed, and when we went to check on him, we found him like this:
Poor kid! I guess that wasn't too comfortable, because he has always found his way back to bed since that time.
