The little guy has grown in leaps and bounds. Although talking still escapes his grasp most of the time... Here are his current stats, so far as I can tell. Some will be what I remember from months past.
- He wears size 18-24 month shirts and pants. Still rocking the size 4 diapers.
- He has 12 teeth, but people often question if he has his front two teeth, because they don't come down as far as his next two, so he looks like a little vampire.
- And speaking of vampire, in the last week, his canine teeth are all finally poking through. It will still be a while before anyone can actually see them though, unless you are holding him upside down and tickling him.
- And speaking of tickling... he loves it! He is the most ticklish little kid, and he will just laugh and laugh. His newest thing is to tickle us back, which also makes him laugh. We are trying to teach him to tickle instead of hit.
- Yes, he hits. And bites. And throws amazing tantrums.
- His hitting is pretty fierce. He usually brings his fist back for a wind up and then socks me right in the face. Not going to lie, there has been more than one occasion where it actually really hit. It takes all my willpower to not punch him back, because that is my natural instinct. (Is that bad?!)
- His biting on the other hand is not so fierce. He'll usually try to bite my leg or my foot while he's on the ground. Go ahead and try to do that to someone... it's not really an easy task to get your mouth around their leg, when you don't tilt your head.
- And the tantrums mostly make us laugh. Which makes it easy to ignore. But we have noticed in the last week or so that they occur mostly around dinner-making time, which leads us to believe he is just intensely hungry. And as you can tell from his chunky little cheeks, we are really starving the poor kid.
- Noah loves to run, especially while throwing his hands up in the air like Superman. He also loves being outside.
- He took his first swimming lessons with Mama this summer, which was a lot of fun. (No pictures though, boo). And we spent many a day at the water park.
- He can walk up and down stairs without going backward or holding on to anything (abt 18 mo).
- He has definitely started talking more. We saw a drastic increase around 18 months, of words we can understand. Although, 9 times out of 10, I still don't understand what he is saying... thus leading to more tantrums. He is becoming much more willing to try the hard words now too.
- He started consistently saying "Mama" on my birthday, which may have been my best present.
- He only uses a pacie (baba) at night and in the car. (20 months)
- Noah loves trucks, balls, pretty much any food, Daddy, Mama, his friend Jack and "Baa," which is more commonly known as "Timmy Time," a little show that he could watch all day long!
And we love him! He is truly the best little guy in the whole World.
