Baby's 1st Easter

Every year my aunt has a big Easter Party, and since we now live so close, we were able to go this year.  It was fun to see family and enjoy the nice weather.  Noah wasn't a happy kid the night before (new place to sleep = really sad Noah), but he did great at the party!

Get ready for picture overload...

I'm sad about this picture, because our camera was fogged over from being cold in the car all night.  I love this shot though... Noah with his Great Uncle Richard and Great Aunt Jacquie.

Kelly, who has the party, spoiled Noah with this awesome bib and bunny ears.  Poor kid.  :)  He did really well with keeping them on .

Playing with Grandma
And Papa
And Aunt Jandie
Lots of smiles for Mom and Dad
Getting ready for the big egg hunt... although he's already the cutest prize of the day!
What am I supposed to do, Mom?
Gotta eat these to make sure they are good ones
And of course, no party is complete without a visit from the Easter bunny!
As always, great party Kelly! Sorry we somehow forgot to get a picture of Noah with the hostess...

Yep, We Raise 'em Right in this Household

On my fifteenth birthday my parents gave me quite possibly the greatest present that I've ever received. My magic Brooklyn shirt has fit me the same way for almost twenty years. Every year, I brake it out on opening day to give my Dodgers a little extra mojo for the coming year.

It hasn't helped much.

This year, the Dodgers got an extra dose of mojo. Yep, this is going to be our year.

At Five Months

Noah is FIVE months old!  Here are his latest stats...

- He weighs in at about 12 lb. 14 oz. and is 25 inches tall.
- He is finally wearing 3-6 month clothes!  Wahoo!
- He can roll from tummy to back, making it difficult to do tummy time.
- He sleeps fairly well at night, although still not quite as good as Mom wants him to!  (But he did sleep through the night ~7pm to 8am~ two nights.  Wahoo!)
- He started eating solid foods (barely) and has tried rice cereal and applesauce.  He seems to love them both.
- He still talks a ton, smiles lots, giggles and brings us more joy than we can express.

And, as only fitting, his 5 month mark happens to fall on the opening day of baseball.  Go Dodgers!

First foods

Noah started eating solids recently.  He is doing so well and doesn't even spit the food back out.  Of course, the first day we tried he was really tired, so the pictures make him look a little cranky, but he quite enjoys it.  We are just feeding him a little bit one time a day... so after two weeks, he's tried rice cereal, apple sauce and carrots.  All three have been a success.
Really intent on getting that good stuff in his mouth!

So tired!

Sexiest Dad Alive

Sometimes we take Noah for a walk with the intent of getting him to fall asleep.  Other times, we try to keep him awake.  It is during those times that Steven will sport the Moby wrap (be still my heart), and we'll stroll around with Noah in tow.  But sometimes during these walks to keep him awake, Noah decides he is still just too tired to make it.  And those times are so cute!

Sunday Best

Noah has the cutest clothes ever.  Thanks to the generosity of great family, friends and a Grandma who loves Craigslist.  In the past week or so, he has finally outgrown his 0-3 month clothes.  (It's amazing what can happen when you feed a kid!)  And when I say outgrown, I mean that he can probably still fit into them, but they are getting a little snug and I'm ready for new clothes, so I have bumped him up.  I must say though, I will miss so many of the cute outfits in the 0-3 category.

I will especially miss this one, which he wore to church quite regularly.  The belt may be my favorite part.
